Simple 2026/27 student fares

The base fare covers one passenger travelling from the named airport to pre-arranged Swansea Bay Campus accommodation.

What to expect from your transfer

These terms apply to The College y Coleg student airport transfers for the 2026/27 academic year.

Meet, greet and waiting time

  • Your driver will meet you 1.5 hours after the official landing time.
  • They will display a sign with your name and The College y Coleg logo.
  • Additional waiting time is charged at £20 per hour. The amount may vary by airport.
  • Airport parking charges are capped at £20 for eligible students.

Luggage

  • The standard allowance is two suitcases plus hand luggage per student.
  • Extra luggage may require a larger vehicle at additional cost.
  • Backpacks must not be worn inside the vehicle to help prevent damage.
  • Your driver will load all luggage into the vehicle.

Journey duration

Heathrow to Swansea takes approximately three hours. Gatwick to Swansea takes approximately four hours. A 15-minute comfort stop is included.

Passenger conduct

Food may only be eaten in the vehicle with the driver’s permission. Please remove all rubbish at the end of the journey.

Scope of service

The student fare covers travel to pre-arranged accommodation only. Shopping, sightseeing and additional stops are not included. Other requests are subject to the driver’s agreement and carry a minimum £25 charge.

Visitors and family members

Student rates also apply to visiting family members. A student may travel with the driver to the airport to greet visitors for an additional £60.

Payment and cancellation

Payment is due in British pounds, by cash or card, before leaving the vehicle on arrival in Swansea.

A cancellation fee equal to 25% of the transportation fee applies to cancelled bookings.

Shared journeys

Where students arrive at the same terminal at similar times, a shared transfer may be arranged. When applicable, each student receives a £30 discount.
